GOAL Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (GMDL) was established in 2019 by Dr. Chan Kong Huy and Dr. Eam Socheat, to answer the clinical need for the accurate and reliable laboratory test in Cambodia. We are based in Phnom Penh, and we report the results in the global standard. History of medical services in Cambodia has not been very bright, and it has been the same in pathological diagnosis.

Dr. Chan Kong Huy, one of the first generation of trained pathologists in Cambodia, has established GMDL with experienced practicing surgical pathologist Dr. Eam Socheat, to bring new life to the pathology service in Cambodia. Dr. Hiroki Imada from Japan has participated in GMDL to keep the quality of pathological service to the global standard.

We believe that the clinical and anatomic pathological test is the vital part of the medical services and that the reliable result should improve the overall medical quality in Cambodia.
